Andrew Jack
Andrew is respected as a dialogue and accent and dialect coach on both sides of the Atlantic, he has coached many of the top film, television and theatre artistes, including Brad Pitt, Donald Sutherland, Robert Downey Jnr, Sir Ian McKellen, Viggo Mortensen, Sir Anthony Sher, Dame Helen Mirren, Cate Blanchett and Liv Tyler. Directors with whom he has worked include Steven Spielberg, Sir Richard Attenborough, Guy Ritchie and JJ Abrams.
Andrew has the advantage of both a teaching and performing background. The synthesis of these two skills creates an exceptional understanding of the performer's needs, which is why he is the most sought-after coach in the international market. As a child actor he studied at the Arts Educational School, progressing to the Central School of Speech and Drama. He subsequently appeared with the Royal Shakespeare Company both at Stratford-Upon-Avon and in London's West End as well as making numerous radio and TV appearances for both the BBC and independent Television. He was a tutor in Voice and Dialect at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and was a founder tutor at the Actors' Centre in London. One of Andrew's principal strengths is his ability to enable American actors sound British and vice versa. His reward has been regular employment on many award-winning international films.
